Kristiansand, Norway my new home

Our Culture and ethics teacher, Andreas aka Santa & our International Management
Teacher, Joyce who just happen to be married
and both went to the University of Oregon, invited us to
dinner at their house. For a "potluck" which
i guess is only an American tradition because we were
the only ones who knew what it was.

It was really fun, food from all over the world.
America, Norway, Germany, Netherlands,
Poland, Pakistan, Bolivia, various places in Asia..

Yum Yum!

My two favorite spicy chicken wings & Egg Rolls.

We all had to introduce the food we beought.

Berry Cobbler is what the Americans & I brought.

What the boy's spent on Erlend's Birthday!
Got to love Norway.
The best part is Alex spent $35 on an Oregon Beer.

Going to Kristen's for dinner. Had to pack it in tight.
We also got suck and had to get out & push for awhile.

Yummy pizza and brownie dinner at Kristen's.

The most important thing people need to know about Norway
is a Big Mac from McDonalds is $20 and a pint of beer at a bar is $15.

One of the first nights, of corse I am teaching games..

We had parties in the playroom at our dorm.

expected to write anywhere from 10-20 pages. If you need to go to the bathroom,
you raise your hand and someone will accompany you.

Cait & I hiking at the lake in Jegersberg. This is right before Judith & I got lost in the woods for two hours.

Linda & I. We had a nice BBQ at the lake.
Fish market. Kristiansand is a little harbor town with the
most amazing seafood, it is also really cheap!

Norway has a lot of white houses. Years ago living in a white house meant you were very wealthy.. guess there was a lot of rich ppl in Norway.

The harbor, so many fishing boats.

The island we hike out to every Sunday, its a nice view but we mainly go there to get the most amazing waffles in the world.

The waffle island used to be a military base.
